Here are the best things to do in Frome as a vegan

Frome is filled with fun things to do as a vegan, here are some of our top recommendations:

Explore Nunney Castle

A visit to Nunney Castle is like using a real-life time machine. This castle will whisk you back to the 14th century, where you can explore the remains of this medieval marvel. The coolest part? It's surrounded by a well-maintained moat that’s home to many species of fish.

Watch live music at Cheese and Grain

Music lovers visiting Frome need to check out this iconic music venue that has hosted the likes of Sir Paul McCartney and the Foo Fights in the past. It’s also the venue where we hold our Frome Vegan Fair.

Take a walk through Catherine Hill

No trip to Frome is complete without a walk up the cobbled path of Catherine Hill. But, this isn't your ordinary shopping street - oh no, it's like stepping into a quirky, colourful dreamscape.

Think cute cafes and independent boutiques that are basically treasure troves of unique finds. Vintage goodies, handmade crafts, funky clothes, you name it, Catherine Hill's got it.

Visit a local market

The area is famous for its many markets. Our favourite is our very own Vegan Fairs event (of course), which is an annual market that hosts a variety of vegan and plant-based brands - think incredible vegan food, delicious drinks and eco-conscious vendors. Be sure to check beforehand to see when our next Frome market is on.

If you can’t make our next event, be sure to check out The Frome Independent - a monthly market that features loads of our Vegan Fair traders, such as Soy Ahoy and Dark Matte

rs Brownies. And keep an eye on our other events in the South West.Take a day trip to Bath

Reachable in 30 minutes by car, or 40 minutes by train, the proximity to Frome makes Bath the perfect place for a day trip when staying in the area.

Imagine exploring the ancient Roman baths, strolling through charming Georgian streets, and pretending you're in a Jane Austen novel. You can find it all at Bath!
